Troll Trouble: An Interactive Cartooning Adventure

10/07/2023 10:00 AM - 01:00 PM PT

Description

This program is geared towards youths aged 8-13. All youths must be accompanied by an adult during the class. Please email info@nordicnorthwest.org with any questions.

Join cartoonist Kane Lynch (and P-nut the Cartoon Cat) on a unique comic-making adventure! Through Kane's unique interactive cartooning activities, kids will learn about Nordic and world mythology, create one-of-a-kind comics and (with luck) rescue P-nut from the trolling of a lifetime!

Trolls seem to be invading everywhere…even Nordic Northwest! Trolls are well known characters throughout folk lore, movies, and even contemporary comics. The lore of Nordic trolls can be seen throughout modern day comics like Hilda and the Mountain King by Luke Pearson.
