Christmas Card Making
Description
There is no better time to get crafty than these cold winter months. Here is a chance to craft your very own Christmas and holiday cards! You’ll create your own cards with a Nordic motif instructed by Portland-based artist Annelie Thurin.
You will learn you how to hand-cut images and attach them to multiple greeting cards or small boards that can be framed. Send your card to your friend, your loved ones, or keep for yourself.
Paper cutting is for everyone! All levels of skill and knowledge of welcome.
All material will be included.
Meet your instructor, Annelie Thurin
Annelie was born and raised in Dalarna, Sweden, from where she draws inspiration for her artwork. In addition to hand-cutting paper pictures and participating in various art shows locally and in Sweden, Annelie is currently teaching STEM to 5th graders at STARBASE. Her education includes an MFA in Costume Design, BFA in Theatre Design and a BA in Education. She has taught at Linfield College, high school and middle school in Sweden, and designed apparel at Jantzen, Inc. and Hanna Andersson.

Parking: We encourage guests to use public transportation or ride-sharing services. Our 75-space parking lot is open on a first-come, first-served, basis.

Both the main entrance facing SW Oleson Rd. and our side entrance facing SW Taylors Ferry Rd. are wheelchair accessible. All restrooms have accessible stalls but no power doors.
